Disney’s Hollywood Studios is known for its great shows. Whether you love Broadway style shows or you’re a fan of shows with tons of action, Hollywood Studios offers something for everyone. Let’s take a look at the top 5 shows that you simply cannot miss.

5. Lights, Motors, Action! Extreme Stunt Show – This attraction came to Hollywood Studios from Disneyland Paris in 2005 as part of the Happiest Celebration On Earth. The show features car chases, motorcycles, explosions, and more! You’ll get a behind the scenes look into how stunts are performed in the movies. If you’re traveling with a Lightning McQueen fan, you’ll definitely want to experience this attraction, as he makes a special appearance in each show.

4. Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular– This stunt show is based on many of the scenes from the popular Indiana Jones film Raiders of the Lost Ark. You will see Indy face booby traps, dangerous bad guys, gun shots (fake of course), and more. The show includes all the makings of a great action film. While you’re watching the show, you will also learn about the magic of film making as the director explains how several of the stunts are performed. And the best part? If you’re 18 or older, you can even get in on the action! A few members of the audience will be chosen to appear as costumed extras in part of the show.

3. Voyage of The Little Mermaid – As the show begins, a light mist and lasers make guests feel as if they are really under the sea with Ariel and friends. This spectacular show tells the story of Ariel through the use of live actors, blacklight puppets, animation, and music. One of the highlights features the award-winning song Under The Sea performed by Sebastian and his blacklight puppet friends. Voyage of The Little Mermaid also features a 12 foot tall Ursula puppet who sings Poor Unfortunate Souls. This is one show you will not want to miss!

2. Beauty and The Beast – Live On Stage – This Broadway style show can be found on Sunset Boulevard. The show originally opened on November 22, 1991 – the same day the animated Beauty & The Beast opened in theaters across the United States. Since then, this amazing show has dazzled Walt Disney World guests. The show features several of the voice talents from the film, as well as many talented actors and actresses. The show’s musical numbers are fantastic and the costumes, especially Belle’s ballgown, are beautiful!

1. Fantasmic! – This show is a great way to end a fun-filled day at Hollywood Studios! Fantasmic! takes you an on adventure into Mickey’s imagination. The show is filled with many of your favorite Disney characters, including characters from Pocahontas, The Lion King, and Beauty & The Beast. Mickey’s imagination also comes to life through the use of pyrotechnics, water screens, and lasers. Recently, Disney has added an opportunity for guests to become part of the show with the new Glow With The Show ear hats.

  1. My husband and I cannot figure out why…but we just aren’t into Fanstasmic. I’ve seen it a handful of times, and he’s seen it once – neither one of us desires to go back, nor wait in those long lines to do it. But the others on the list are great fun!

  2. Heading to WDW for the first time in a week. REALLY looking forward to Fantasmic! I’m not sure which of the other shows would hold the attention of my 5-year old. #ymbada

  3. I really loved the Indiana Jones one, it was our first time seeing it last year. Will be on our list when we go back in April. 61 days! #‎ymbada‬

  4. Fantasmic is one of the few things I’ve never done at DW and I’m not sure why! It is on the bucket list for this trip ‪#‎ymbada‬

  5. I haven’t been there yet but planning to soon. Is it possible to see all of them in one day and ride some rides? I sure do hope so but if not we’ll have to go two days 🙂 #‎ymbada‬

  6. I haven’t been to Hollywood Studios since it was MGM! I can’t wait to go back and see all of these again. Disney knows how to entertain. #ymbada
