Experience Wishes Nighttime Spectacular, Magic Kingdom’s nightly fireworks display, with a perfect unobstructed view, while comfortably sitting in a chair with plenty of room to move and walk around. A perfect view, comfortable seating, what could possibly make this any better? How about enjoying an all you can eat dessert buffet as well. The Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party is one of Magic Kingdom’s best kept secrets! The dessert party is not widely advertised. People mostly hear about it through word of mouth. Reservations are hard to come by, as this is not a regularly scheduled event. It tends to just pop up on the calendar. The Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party ranges in price of $15-$35.99, and does require payment at the time of booking.

Reservations for Wishes sometimes only open up 60-90 days in advance.  If you are unable to make a reservation right away, be sure to check back every day leading up to your vacation to see if anything becomes available. If you are still unable to get a reservation I suggest getting over to the terrace around the time the dessert party begins to see if there is any empty space available. Just remember there is never a guarantee that you will be able to just walk up and get in.

Now here is a look at what you might find at the dessert party, just keep in mind that the dessert list is subject to change

  1. Wow I never knew about this!!! Im definitely going to keep my eye on any reservations that may be available. Not going to get my hopes up because I’ll be going during holiday season so I wouldnt be surprised if its already completing booked up

  2. i’ve always wanted to do this! it sounds amazing, and totally worth it! what a great experience

  3. We are Florida residents, so when Disney does stuff like this we are THERE! 🙂 The first time is was mind blowing! The desserts were fresh, the coffee/tea hot. There were CMs on hand to entertain the kids, so the adults could relax before the show. The lights were dimmed and everyone went to the rail to enjoy the show. It was so good, I was taking a friend 2 months later (a newbie) and we couldn’t stop telling her about it – the second time was TERRIBLE! There were no CMs or an area for the kids to play, the desserts were not refilled in a timely fashion, so they seemed picked over – the beverages were cold 🙁 I was embarrassed that I had raved about this event – assuming it was a fluke, we tried it one more time (3rd time) and it was even worst!! When the CM cleared our table, she poured my remaining coffee, into my DDs remaining coco, into my other DDs Apple Juice glass—all while at our table! The desserts were not plentiful and they did not refill them once the show started. The lights were not even dimmed very low for the show (we were told a safety concern) Now, do I give it a 4th try to see if it’s improved? I’m just not sure I’m willing to risk it for the cost… PLUS to be honest, I’m a “watch the fireworks in front of the castle kinda girl!” ºoº The angle from the terrace was a little weird for me 🙂 I REALLY, REALLY hope Disney has improved this event!

  4. Then why do it 3X if you are so unhappy? We did it a few years ago, when they first started it. It was amazing! We are doing it again on our trip next month, and cannot wait!

  5. We had to stand for the first fireworks display but by the time the second one started it had cleared out and we sat along the rail without any problem. We enjoyed it and the sweets!!!

  6. I’ve done it 3x and I would NOT recommend it. Skip it and save your money for a different Disney experience. 🙁

  7. We had to get up to stand at the wall to see the fireworks because we were in the back. Not everyone gets a seat along the wall & the seats are already assigned when you get there.
