With so many attractions at Disney, it can be next to impossible to make time for them all. In fact, in my many trips to Walt Disney World, I still haven’t seen and done everything there is to do. While it might be tempting to skip some of the older attractions in favor of the newer, more thrilling attractions, I highly recommend you don’t do this!

For years I had never visited classic attractions such as The Jungle Cruise and The Country Bear Jamboree. On my last few vacations, I found out what I was missing. These classic Disney attractions are fabulous! I couldn’t believe I had been missing out on them all these years. Several of those attractions I used to skip are now on my must do list. In addition to The Jungle Cruise and The Country Bear Jamboree, some other great classic attractions you won’t want to miss are It’s A Small World, Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room, and The Carousel of Progress.

Which classic Disney attractions have made their way onto your must do list? Let us know in the comments below!

  1. Some of my favorites! When I visit Disneyland, I plan on taking in all of the attraction that aren’t at Walt Disney World. They sound like so much fun!

  2. Every visit to WDW we look for an “older ride” to take the kids. Last august we visited “Carrousel of Progress” and on our upcoming trip we’ll visit one of the classics It’s a Small World!

  3. Being from So. Calif, I made sure my teen son got to experience Country Bear Jamboree, the Peoplemover, and now his favorite Carousel of Progress. Hall of Presidents is another favorite at MK.

  4. We introduced the kids to Country Bears on our Spring trip last year. They were skeptical at first, but wound up loving it. Of course, the “classics” you can’t miss for us are: Pirates of the Caribbean, Mad Tea Party, Swiss Family Treehouse, Prince Charming’s Carousel, and Dumbo. Usually, if we miss one of those, we wind up cranky.
