Cape May Cafe

Cape May Cafe

Cape May Cafe is located at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, in the Boardwalk area.  This character breakfast buffet is a unique experience-it’s not everyday you see Mickey and friends dressed in their beach gear!  This is a fun, laidback character experience, and is great for families!  It’s not only serving breakfast, though;.  Visit at night, and you’ll be treated a clam bake dinner, with a little Disney magic.

  • As with any character meal, characters are subject to change.  However, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald are typically found here for breakfast ONLY.
  • Breakfast is a buffet style meal, and characters visit each table.  So, have your autograph books, pens, and cameras ready!
  • Dinner is buffet as well. You’ll enjoy fresh seafoods, carved meats, and mouthwatering desserts.
  • You can view the full menu for Cape May HERE.
  • This is a very popular Disney meal, as it offers two very unique experiences.  If you are looking to explore the Boardwalk area, add Cape May to your dining reservations at the 180 day mark.

Cape May is fun for the whole family, and offers so much food that there is sure to be something here for everyone!  It is part of the Disney Dining Plan, and will count as a table service credit for each member of your travel party.  After dining here, stroll along the Boardwalk and enjoy the sights, sounds, and nightlife.

Overall, we give Cape May an “A”!

  1. one of the best breakfasts on property went there three times on our last family trip, the girls loved it, we loved bening able to fuel up and hit epcot or the studios easily

  2. Loved this restaurant…great buffet, excellent food. We were there for breakfast because we were staying in the resort and had such a great time with this truly fun Character breakfast during our trip in the beginning of October, 2011!

  3. This is my favorite place to eat in the entire Disney World Resort. Unfortunately, we were unable to make it there our last trip, but the trip before that we ate every meal there 🙂 Food was great and breakfast was extremely fun with all the characters.

  4. We had breakfast here our first morning before heading to magic kingdom. We enjoyed the beautiful beach club resort and the theming or the restaurant as well. The food was delicious. We were traveling with a 7 year old and a 9 year old and the choices on the Buffett were great for them. The character greeting was great much time for photos!

  5. We ate there on 12-28-11 for dinner. The buffet was great. Never ran low and was hot. Try the olive salad or the rice with chix and mushrooms. Would of loved to been able to get there for breakfast.

  6. This was an extremly fun breakfast! It was typical Disney breakfast but it was decorated well and the service was great. We loved the theming right down to the characters costumes. The character interaction was wonderful as well. We will definately go back to Cape May!

  7. We had Dinner there back in November 2011 and it was some of the best food we had at the resorts the sea food was excellent and if you do not like sea food there was plenty other items to have the Crab Legs were the most beautiful ones you have ever seen and good size and could get the meat out easily for crab legs.

  8. We went to the character breakfast here. It was our favorite and best meal during our vacation! Unfortunately my family (except for me!) is very picky but they had something for everyone and it was all delicious! All of the Staff were fantastic. The Characters were awesome. One of my boys was afraid but they went out of their way to make him comfortable so we were able to get some great photos.
