I know for some people AKL is a lesser level of deluxe accomodation, but I’ve stayed at most of them and AKL is my favorite. The rooms are cozy and quiet, the public areas are gorgeous, and it has some of the best dining on Disney property. And don’t get me started on the pools. The pool at Kidani is actually registered as a water park. My kids love it. I think they should change the name of AKL to “Awesome Town.”

Our family found the Buffet at the AKL by accident when we were looking for a place to eat and it is by far the best Buffet in WDW! We've incorporated it into our family tradition to eat there on every vacation! I've never stayed at the resort but would like to try it one year. It would be neat to wake up and see the animals having breakfast outside your window!
