Whatever happened to… Figaro Fries???

Whatever happened to... Figaro Fries???

Whatever happened to Figaro Fries? You know… Disney World fries, topped with bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, and drowned in ranch sauce. Figaro Fries are one of the the many secrets of the Magic Kingdom, and could only be found at PinocchioVillage Haus in Fantasyland.

Whatever happened to... Figaro Fries???

One our last trip I was surprised to find out that the Figaro Fries were removed from the menu on May 1st, 2008 and replaced with loaded fries, consisting of fries topped with cheese and bacon.

It’s just not the same.. I understand wanting to give people a choice to order healthy and all, but these things were delicious and the the lettuce and tomato made them healthy am I right??

I am unsure if they are gone for good but making them at home is not the same Whatever happened to... Figaro Fries???

Disney please them back if not for me for the children Whatever happened to... Figaro Fries???

I guess my daughter isn't so strange after all. She eats her fries with ranch all the time.

We were there in Sept 09, and asked about this. The answer they gave us was that you could still get them “Figaro Style”, you just need to ask. Not sure if there's a cost associated, but they still exist. However, we like to get the loaded fries, then ask for blue cheese dressing and pour it over them. Yum. Making my mouth water thinking about it.

I've been thinking of making them at home using homemade fries, a good cheese sauce, and some local, thick cut bacon. Don't tell me that wouldn't be good.
