liberty tree tavern closure

News update: The reopening of Liberty Tree Tavern has been pushed back by a few days. The beloved restaurant is now set to reopen on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2015.

Many of you have been anxiously awaiting the grand reopening of Liberty Tree Tavern to get your hands (and forks) on a  Patriot’s Platter! – Roasted Turkey Breast, Carved Beef and Sliced Pork with Mashed Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables, Herb Bread Stuffing, and Macaroni & Cheese, White Cake filled with Apples sounds perfect for the holidays!

Originally scheduled to reopen on November 21st, Disney changed the date to the 26th. Hopefully, this delay is the last and the doors will open on November 26th.

Chip and Co will keep you updated with refurbishment information as it is released. For a full list of current and scheduled closures at Walt Disney World here is the article.

How many of you are lucky enough to have Thanksgiving Day reservations at Liberty Tree Tavern?

  1. I was just able to secure a reservation for December 1, 2015, for dinner! Super excited. The first year we went to Disney World in 2011, we stopped at this location and that was where we learned about the importance of dining reservations. Since then I have been wanting to eat there every year, and finally this year we get to go, I’m so excited!
