Many Guests have been wondering what sort of impact the two year expansion at Disney’s Coronado Springs will have on their vacation. Disney has issued an update that will hopefully ease the minds of Guests planning to stay at the hotel over the next two years:
In an effort to continually enhance the Guest experience, we recently announced that exciting changes will be made at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Please note construction fencing will be seen at the resort, with work happening behind the fencing. Additionally, noise will be heard while the Resort is undergoing refurbishments, but noise should not be heard from inside Guest rooms prior to 9 a.m. daily.
During this time, our exceptional amenities including dining and merchandise locations, pools, La Vida Health Club with the spa and salon, and recreation activities such as beach volleyball, Iguana Arcade, Movies Under the Stars and more, will remain available for your enjoyment.
We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this work may cause.
To learn more about refurbishments taking place at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, please call (407) 939-1000. Guests under 18 years of age must have parent or guardian permission to call.
The existing spaces at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort will be re-imagined and feature a new 15-story tower overlooking lake Lago Dorado. An additional 500 Guest rooms with suites and concierge level suites will be added along with new features that include waterfront dining and retail shopping.
Would you still stay at Disney’s Coronado Springs during your next Walt Disney World vacation while the resort undergoes expansion?
