For employees of Universal Orlando life just got a little bit sweeter with the announcement of a pay raise to happen in June! On Wednesday Universal announced the increase in the hourly wage as they are starting to fill summer and permanent positions. The rate increase goes up to $9.50 an hour from $9, and will start in June 2015. The increase to $10 an hour will start in June 2016.
While the increase doesn’t happen until June officials say that some of the current workers may see an increase in their hourly rates to reflect the new rate sooner.
