Cat Cora is teaming up with Disney online for an interactive cooking demonstration with the Muppets to lauch Disney.com’s newest series, “The Muppets Kitchen with Cat Cora.” Several episodes are already live on the Disney website.

The premiere event is open to adults and children of all ages. The event will not be online, however, this premiere event for the series will take place at the Professional Culinary Institute of California in Campbell, CA on Tuesday, September 28 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. Those in the San Jose, Silicon Valley and San Francisco Bay Area are welcome to learn a few cooking lessons live while having fun with the Muppets.

The event will share recipes and cooking tips, and will cook a delicious meal in front of the live audience. The event and the online series will also debut a new Muppet, Angelo.

Each episode is about seven minutes long and features different cooking tips from the Muppets and Cat Cora. This is a new partnership between Cora and Disney; Cora partnered with Walt Disney World Resort in spring 2009 in a new restaurant venture. The restaurant, Kouzzina, is located at Disney’s Boardwalk Inn, and opened last August.
