For a Limited Time Only! Disney Parks Rolls Out Unexpected Delights for a Little Extra Magic

Guests will find an extra sprinkling of pixie dust each week when they visit Walt Disney World and Disneyland resorts in 2013.

While it is already a momentous year for Disney Parks – with the largest expansion in Magic Kingdom history at Walt Disney World Resort and the first full year of a reimagined Disney California Adventure at Disneyland Resort – Disney parks are adding to the excitement with Limited Time Magic: 52 weeks of magical experiences big and small that appear, then disappear as the next special surprise debuts.

Imagine an Independence Day celebration – only it lasts an entire week….Main Street mainstays the Dapper Dans rocking out with boy band hits in barbershop style….a Friday the 13th dance party with Disney villains that lasts to the 13 hour….a Valentine’s Day in 2013 that became Valentine’s Week with Disney castles blushing pink, surprise meet-and-greets with Disney princes and princesses, and candlelit dinners for couples in love.

These and many more special experiences to surprise and delight Disney Parks guests will roll out each week in 2013. Unique, magical, memory-filled – and each for a limited time only.

Disney officials noted that Limited Time Magic was inspired by the reality that many of life’s most cherished memories are made during those special, but fleeting moments when families spend time together with shared experiences.

Disney Introduces Beautifully Disney Cosmetics for Disney Parks

Today the Disney Parks blog announced their newest beauty and cosmetics line, Beautifully Disney. This magical line will be available beginning in March 2013 and will feature makeup and accessories for lips, eyes and nails. It will be themed as Disney does best with packaging based on different characters and films. Color lines will range from classic colors to more trendy colors. Here is what Disney has to say about this “fashion forward” line:

Through the collections of this new and enchanting line, it is the goal to keep guests romanced by the contrast of mysterious yet inviting colors and sparkle to experience modern recreations of our most beloved and treasured Disney characters. The character inspired collection is the first of its kind for Disney Parks and has been developed to evoke the spirit, beauty, and fantasy of all things Disney.

It has been developed for guests that are inspired by the timeless beauty of our Disney characters, and the diverse stories they represent.

Joffrey’s is Disney’s Official Specialty Brand Coffee

Taking into consideration I do not even drink coffee, the amount of information I have about Disney coffee is quite impressive but this is not a positive for Disney. Normally I hear about the coffee in Disney via grumblings and comments that the only thing good about leaving Disney is a decent cup of coffee. Yes, there are a few places I hear to get good coffee…think Kona, but all in all the coffee at Disney is just not doing the job. But all that is changing, as Disney has just announced that they have entered into a long-term strategic alliance with Tampa based Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Co.

Joffrey’s is not only the official specialty coffee of Walt Disney World, but also Disneyland resort and all the Disney Vacation Club properties as well.

“We are thrilled to be creating unique coffee blends exclusively for Disney guests,” said Chris de Mezzo, Joffrey’s roastmaster and chief operating officer, in a prepared statement. “After all, a Disney vacation is like none other, so the coffee that Disney guests drink should be like none other, as well.”

Joffrey’s coffee is not completely new to Walt Disney World as it has been sold at kiosks around the Walt Disney World Resort, they will now have an expanded presence and available at select dining locations, as well as making special flavors only available on Disney property.

Limited Time Magic Continues This Summer at Walt Disney World Resort

Magical experiences in all shapes and sizes that appear and disappear as the next special surprise debuts will continue with a weeklong Independence Day celebration highlighting the summer season — all part of Limited Time Magic at Disney Parks.

Independence Week: It’s red, white and blue as Disney Parks salutes America with a 4^th of July Fireworks Party — for an entire week, with patriotic lighting bathing the Disney castles on both coasts. Mickey Mouse appears in his patriotic finest and guests will find special USA shirts, Ear Hats and other limited-edition souvenirs.

Guests will enjoy an extra dash of pixie dust each week in 2013 when they visit Walt Disney World whether it’s a meet and greet with rarely seen Disney characters, A Chalk Art Festival or a special salute to Father’s Day — the element of surprise enhances the experience.

Limited Time Magic was inspired by the reality that many of life’s most cherished memories are made during those special, but fleeting moments when families spend time together with shared experiences.

Disney dream makers are crafting more surprises and magical offers that will be rolled out weekly during the magical year.
