Disney World labor contract negotiations stall

With a contract set to expire on December 11 for 27,000 service workers at Walt Disney World, neither side proposed any plan on Friday to move forward after mediation broke down last week.Commenting on Disney's original offer, Steve Eisenhardt, vice president of Disney Parks and Resorts labor relations, said in a statement: "This is a good deal for our cast members who are clearly being misled by some union leaders."Eisenhardt was referring in part to a documentary published on … [Read more...]
