The Muppets The Final Parody

On vacation in Los Angeles, Walter, the world’s biggest Muppet fan, his brother Gary (Jason Segel) and Gary’s girlfriend Mary (Amy Adams) from Smalltown, USA, discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets’ former stomping grounds. To stage a telethon and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino tribute band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a Santa Barbara clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate. With signature celebrity cameos, Disney’s “The Muppets” hits the big screen Nov. 23, 2011.

Hey there guys and gals, Anonymouse here. Last week was quite the interesting week at the parks. With all kinds of issues in the Enchanted Tiki Room I wanted to bring you some some Disney Movie News/Gossip.

One article that has crossed my desk several times this week is Pirates of the Caribbean 5. Even with the fourth film of the franchise yet to be released, Disney is apparently already hard at work on a fifth Pirates of the Caribbean film. Wait what?

The wonderful Terry Rossio is reportedly already at work on the script, so you can expect it will be along the same lines as the first four, since she was the co-writer on all four of the previous films.

Also Disney is trying to get Rob Marshall to direct the fifth film. If you remember Marshall directed the fourth installment, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

No word if Johnny Depp has signed on but it seems he is interested. I am sure the Disney dollars hasn’t hit that lucky number yet. We shall see.

The next article I have been reading about is the Muppets Movie coming out this year. It seems more details on the movie has been released. The famously formidable pig will appear in the new Muppet Movie as a plus-size fashion editor for Vogue Paris. As always I would stay out of her way or the bacon will fly.
