Disney Confidential – Disney working on Toy Story 4?
Hello Woody, Jessie, and all you other toys and folks out there in Toy Story Mania world….AnonyMouse is on the scene. I did not have to look far today to find this interesting morsel of gossip for you…it is all over the internet that Pixar has CONFIRMED Toy Story 4…so if it is confirmed then why is it still on the rumor mill circuit? Well that is because it has been confirmed by two Colombian news sites via their twitter and website accounts.
Jose Luis Balaguera, the entertainment coordinator for Radio Station RCN tweeted: “In 2015, Pixar will release Toy Story 4, the voices of Tom Hanks, Tim Allen and Joan Cusack confirmed for the main characters.”
Though we have heard nothing from Pixar or Disney camps yet, the speculation started last year when Tom Hanks said he thought there would be another one and that they were working on it now…I mean take that for what it is worth but first Tom Hanks and then the Colombian news. AnonyMouse knows what he knows…
Good news for Chimp CHIP (my apologies again) as he was sad when he thought he would never see Woody again!
Anywho that is all the Disney Gossip I have right now. For my past Gossip articles be sure to check them out here.

Disney Junior’s Octonaut Toys to the Rescue March 2013

The Octonauts is an animated British television series that aired 52 episodes in 2010-2011. Those episodes have now been available as a Disney Junior favorite since January 2012. The premise of the show is that the characters live in an OctoPod and travel the World’s oceans doing research, rescuing sea creatures and solving mysteries. Based on the books by Meomi, the series was created with the help of marine biologists Dr. Lara A. Ferry-Graham and Dr. Michael H. Graham. They were also involved in Disney-Pixar’s Finding Nemo. New episodes are being aired in the UK after a year hiatus and hopefully they will find their way to Disney Junior soon.
Here is the mystery…where are the toys? Well, in Great Britain as of right now. Several sites like Amazon or Ebay have limited supplies and you pay an outrageous premium. My little Octonaut had Octonaut toys on his list for Santa, which couldn’t be delivered. How is it the toy aisles weren’t filled with consumer temptation? Well, the wait is over. According to the Octonauts Facebook page, March 2013 will be the Fisher-Price launch of the under the sea madness.
I’m thrilled my son will have new toys from his favorite show. My wallet is scared to death. If you haven’t checked out this series on Disney Junior, give it a chance. It’s very informative and I was amazed how much my son retained. During a recent visit to the aquarium, he rattled off all he knows about Decorator Crabs to the amazement of the staff.
Mickey Mom is a Mom to Two Octonaut fans and secretly likes the show!

Use Your Packing Smarts for more Potato Head Parts!
Who’s been to Once Upon a Toy in Downtown Disney? Sometimes I think adults have more fun in that store than kids do! For just $20 (+ tax) you can pack a box full of Mr. Potato Head parts. This is a great (and economical) souvenir!
Here’s a few helpful hints on how to get the most bang for your buck:
Buy your Potato Head body at home. If you have a Mr. Potato Head already, great! Bring him with you, in your suitcase, so that you can try out all of the new parts you purchase. If you’re able to, purchase a Mr. Potato Head before leaving for Disney World. Finally, keep your eyes open at garage sales – I once found a Mr. Potato Head body for 25 cents! Having a potato body already, allows you to fill your box with more parts.
These are the Droids You’re Looking For! Video Walk Through of the Droid Factory at Disney Hollywood Studios
Disney Hollywood Studios recently opened up the new Droid Factory a few days before Star Wars Weekends 2012.

This build-a-droid experience is located inside Tattoine Traders, the Star Tours gift shop. As neat as this was to customize your own R2 unit I found the area to be really small and it was due to it’s size and location that my wife and I opted to build them the day before Star Wars Weekends started. I’m sure the lines will be LONG!
If you’re not able to attend this year’s Star Wars Weekends have no fear! I’m told that this kiosk will be a permanent fixture at the shop. No word on weather this factory will make it out to the west coast but should it be a smash success I can see Disneyland getting their own factory sooner than later.

Star Wars Droid Factory Now Open at Disney Hollywood Studios

The “Droid Factory” experience, a new attraction where you can build and name your own R-series astromech droid action figures, is now open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
“We began discussing the Droid Factory in 2009,” says product developer Cody Hampton. “We know that personalization is an important aspect of the popular build-your-own lightsaber experience. We felt the same thing could be done with action figures but on a much larger scale.”
Located at the park’s Tatooine Traders location, the Droid Factory has 71 different pieces to create the 3 3/4-inch scale astromech figures. To get started, guests choose a dome, a body and legs offered in a variety of colors and styles (availability of various parts and colors may change). There are optional third legs and novelty hats that can be added as well.
“We wanted lots of options for [the Droid Factory],” continues Cody. “There are literally thousands of combinations making each droid unique. Guests can also name their droids with sticker sheets provided at checkout.”
Three domes — R6, R8 and R9 — were created exclusively for this experience at Disney Parks. The multi-colored ear hats, which are inspired by Jedi Mickey’s astromech droid, R2-MK, will be joined by four additional hats later this summer including a Goofy hat, a pirate hat, a fedora (very Agent P) and a Yoda cap.
Droids will be sold either in single or dual packs (the latter has a value price). They can also be used with playsets like the Starspeeder 1000.
I’m looking forward to building a few astromech’s myself as I head down to DHS for this year’s Star Wars Weekends. Be sure to follow me on Twitter and listen to my reports for the Sorcerer Radio Network and the WDW After Dark vidcast LIVE this Friday May 18, 2012!
