Marvel’s ‘Iron Man 3′ Review
“Big man in a suit. Take that off, what are you?”, Captain America famously quips at Tony Stark in ‘The Avengers’. A throwaway line to some, but one that holds more significance than many originally imagined. Just what is Tony Stark without his suits? Is he really Iron Man, or is it that suit that makes him Iron Man? That line was just a hint of what we could expect from ‘Iron Man 3‘, Marvel Studio’s first film of their new Phase 2, and the first film following the mega blockbuster, ‘The Avengers’. Director Shane Black, who’s credits include writing the first two ‘Lethal Weapon’ films, as well as directing Robert Downey, Jr. in one of his comeback films, ‘Kiss Kiss Bang Bang’, decided to explore that very question, while sending Tony Stark through an emotional wringer that will change who he is, and how he sees himself, forever.
Following the events of ‘The Avengers’, Tony Stark finds his life is in dismay. He’s not sleeping, and he’s now realized he’s not the center of the universe, and in fact, he’s nothing compared to a man who turns into a monster, a Super Soldier, or a DemiGod. He’s confined himself to working on his suits, trying to make himself feel important and needed. But when an attack by the villainous leader, the Mandarin, hits too close to home, Stark finds himself on a revenge mission against the man who is causing fear across America.

‘Marvel’s The Avengers’ is Coming to Blu-ray and DVD September 25, 2012
With ‘Marvel’s The Avengers’ still dominating the box office in it’s third consecutive weekend, and showing no signs of slowing down, Disney and Marvel have announced a release date for the superhero epic to hit home video of September 25, 2012. There will be three different releases, including a 4 disc 3D combo back, 2 Disc blu-ray combo pack, and a 2 disc DVD combo pack. Featuring a great selection of special features including deleted scenes, an alternate opening and ending, a new Marvel One Shot short film, and an audio commentary with Joss Whedon, these are just the tip of the iceberg of what will be a very exciting set to pick up. ‘The Avengers’ is my favorite film of the year, so I definitely can’t wait to pick this one up. There is also a rumor that we’ll be seeing a ten disc Marvel box set that will encompass the entire first phase of the Marvel cinematic universe.

‘The Avengers’ World Premiere to Stream Live From Hollywood
Not everyone can be a part of the upcoming movie premiere of Marvel’s film, ‘The Avengers’, which takes place this Wednesday, April 11, at 6:00 PM PT/ 9:00 PM ET. Marvel Announces ‘Avengers’ Fan Screenings
Marvel Studios has announced fan screenings for their upcoming crossover film, The Avengers, on April 14! Are you interested in attending? Hit the jump for the full press release and to find out how.
Marvel Studios announced today that “Marvel’s The Avengers” will reward its fans on Facebook for their continued support of the film’s campaign with advance screenings in cities around the world on a first-come-first-served basis. In the U.S. fans will be able to experience the film in stunning IMAX® 3D.
This unprecedented screening event will enable Facebook fans of “Marvel’s The Avengers” in cities that have assembled the most fans on Facebook to win the first access to screenings of the film, weeks before the May 4th release in theaters. This event will kick off on April 14th at 10 a.m PDT with the top five cities in the U.S. with the most fans on Facebook: Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Houston and Miami. The next five cities to garner the most Facebook “Marvel’s The Avengers” fans will be awarded an early screening as well — to be announced shortly on Facebook. Fans can rally for their city to be the chosen location for this special opportunity by going towww.facebook.com/avengers for details. International fans should visit their local “Marvel’s The Avengers” Facebook page for more details on how to win a screening in their city.
Participating fans are encouraged to celebrate this movie event by coming to their local screenings dressed in their finest Super Hero costumes inspired by “Marvel’s The Avengers” – the winners of the Best Costume contest will be awarded reserved seats.
