All New Areas Open in Fantasyland
Fantasyland News to keep you prepared for your trip. The New Fantasyland has given us a lot to talk about in the last few months. It being the largest expansion in Disney history it is not yet completed and things are still being added. Below are a few new pieces of information about what is going on for your upcoming trip.
The Enchanted Forest to Storybook Circus access opens for the busy spring period. The walkway between Storybook Circus and New Fantasyland is now open to allow easier access through that area. Located just by the Little Mermaid attraction, the pathway opens daily at 10am through to 10pm in the evening and is expected to remain open to guests through the busy Spring period in mid April 2013.
Disney Evite Collection is Now Available
Do you do invites or Evites? Until now, Disney fans had to use paper invites or get creative on their own to do a Disney themed party. Now Disney’s interactive Spoonful.com and Evite.com have partnered to bring the Disney collection to you on Evite.com/Disney.
Evite has been named the exclusive online party invitation partner for Disney Interactive’s Spoonful.com and is now offering a new collection of Disney-themed online party invitations. The Evite Disney Collection includes characters popular with both boys and girls, in eye-catching designs. The invitations will still use Evite’s signature, simple, invitation templates and party planning tools.
Disney’s Spoonful.com inspires families to express their creativity and provides them with tools to enjoy family celebrations and party planning. The Evite partnership makes it one step easier by providing customized invitations from their favorite Disney characters and stories.
Designs featured in the Evite Disney Collection will include Disney Princess, Disney Fairies, Cars, Toy Story, Phineas and Ferb, Alice in Wonderland®, Mickey and Minnie®, Jake and the Never Land Pirates®, Pooh®, Tangled®, Brave®, Shake it Up®, and Doc McStuffins.
Well of course, we at Chip and Company have to check out the Disney Evites. I’ll be setting up a Cars Birthday Party invite for my son’s 2nd Birthday party. Keep an eye on Chip and Company for my review!

Disney Confidential – Rapunzel Tower now visible in the Magic Kingdom
Rapunzel…Rapunzel let down your golden hair….does that sound familiar? Well, if not get familiar with the movie, “Tangled” and come back here to read more. Recently, I, Anonymouse, got to visit Disney World for a few magical days. I did not want to say anything before about it, because as it is, I have to go incognito so as not to be mobbed by my adoring fans… unlike Chip who can walk around at WDW with his C&C gear on and nobody knows who he is.
So, I was walking along in Magic Kingdom and I got confused. I had seen the construction for the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train ride and so, what was this construction? Across from Liberty Tavern Inn and next too “it’s a small world” ride and behind construction walls there was a mystery something being built. I asked around, what is that, and no one would tell Anonymouse…because they knew I would tell EVERYONE!
But, guess what…I found out anyway and of course I am going to EVERYONE! The new building is going to be a…drumroll…bathrooms! But there is more (thankfully) It is rumored to be themed as Snuggly Duckling from the movie, “Tangled”. It is not going to be anything more than fancy bathrooms but still…interesting news and I was hoping they would start putting out more about “Tangled” and Rapunzel… and since I have been wondering now for a week or more this does help me sleep better at night.

Mandy Moore Visits Rapunzel at Disneyland Park
“Tangled” and “Tangled Ever After” star Mandy Moore visited the Disneyland Resort last week, and made time to stop by Fantasyland for a visit with Rapunzel. Mandy was looking forward to seeing all of the Halloween Time decor and special events here at Disneyland, as well as visiting the new Cars Land at Disney California Adventure park. “We want to do everything,” she told me, adding that Space Mountain is her favorite attraction.

Animated Film Similar to “Brave” Has Disney Threatening Legal Action
Disney is threatening Brightspark Productions with legal action due to its movie titled “Braver” based on the title and packaging being too closely related to Disney’s animated film, “Brave”. According to Brightspark, “Braver” was released initially in 2005 under the name, “A Fairy Tale Christmas” and the Brighton, England based company claims was for “families on a budget”.
“Brave”, voiced by stars such as Billy Connolly and Emma Thompson, was released this past Summer and has quickly gained blockbuster status for Disney.
‘People place great trust in the quality and creativity of Disney and, when it appears that another company is causing confusion, we will act to protect ourselves and the consumer,’ Walt Disney Company’s European senior vice-president Peter Wiley said.
This is not the first time Brightspark has been on Disney’s radar for a similar legal issue. Disney has also criticized Brightspark about the title change of Brightspark’s DVD formerly titled “Fairy Tales From Around the World” which has been changed to “Tangled Up” and has a similar cover to Disney’s “Tangled”.
