There has been a lot of internet buzz regarding the future of  "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" animated series since Cartoon Network aired the season finale last week. Bob Iger Talks to CNBC About ESPN, Disney Parks and the Future of Star Wars

Last night in an interview with CNBC Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Iger confirmed that work is currently underway to expand the Star Wars franchise by creating  standalone films.
