Muppets The Green Album Details and Track Listing
Walt Disney Records is releasing “Muppets: The Green Album” on August 23, 2011 and we just got our hands on the track listing.(see below)
The Green Album is a tribute comprised of Muppets cover songs by some of today’s top artists!
Don’t forget Disney’s “The Muppets” movie arrives in theaters on November 23, 2011.

Now, after much ado—and Miss Piggy’s insistence that she get final cut—we’re finally ready for the world premiere of the official trailer for our upcoming movie, “The Muppets”. On vacation in Los Angeles, Walter, the world’s biggest Muppet fan, and his friends Gary (Jason Segel) and Mary (Amy Adams) from Smalltown, USA, discover the nefarious plan of oilman Tex Richman (Chris Cooper) to raze the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets’ former stomping grounds. To stage The Greatest Muppet Telethon Ever and raise the $10 million needed to save the theater, Walter, Mary and Gary help Kermit reunite the Muppets, who have all gone their separate ways: Fozzie now performs with a Reno casino tribute band called the Moopets, Miss Piggy is a plus-size fashion editor at Vogue Paris, Animal is in a Santa Barbara clinic for anger management, and Gonzo is a high-powered plumbing magnate. With secret, signature, celebrity cameos, “The Muppets” hits the big screen Nov. 23, 2011.

Star Wars Muppets coming soon!
This is a sneak peek at the Star Wars Muppets action figures coming out at Disney parks in the Fall of 2011. Cody Hampton, Associate Product Developer for Toys and Games, has these samples displayed on his desk. They will be in 2-figure sets and include the classics like Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy as Luke and Leia.
Some of the other sets will include Beaker as C-3PO and Dr. Bunsen Honeydew as R2-D2, Link Hogthrob as Han Solo with Fozzy the Bear as Chewbacca, and Sam the Eagle as Obi-Wan Kenobi with Gonzo as Darth Vader complete with his chicken Camilla as a Stormtrooper.
