One of the oldest traditions in the Magic Kingdom is the flag retreat. The ceremony takes place in front of the Main Street Train Station, and depending on the time of year, it occurs around 4:45 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Cast Members prefer to have Veterans and active military to help perform this ceremony.
