Did you know there is a secret entrance at Universal Studios Orlando?

Did you know that there’s a secret entrance to Universal Studios Theme Park? Universal Studios can get pretty busy, especially during peak summer months, Spring Break and the week between Christmas and New Year’s. You could wait in long lines just to enter Universal Studios. However, if you pre-purchased your tickets, then you can use the second, secret entrance to Universal Studios right next to the Blue Man Group auditorium at Universal CityWalk. This is a great way to avoid the long lines over at the main park entrance!

Universal Studios theme park is home to the brand new Transformers The Ride 3-D opening June 20, as well as Despicable Me: Minion Mayhem and classic rides such as E.T. You will not want to miss Universal Studios on your next Orlando vacation.

Here is a short video to show you where it is, make sure to remember this tip next time you visit Universal Studios Florida.

Why You Should Use a Disney Travel Agent

Why You Should Use a Disney Travel Agent

Chances are if you read Chip and Co., you are already a Disney fan. That also most likely means that you’ve been to Walt Disney World or Disneyland or even both. You’ve probably made your own resort reservations, dining reservations, and done just fine, right? Well, what if you could just tell someone where you wanted to stay and eat on your next vacation, but not have to do any work- no time searching for dining reservations or waiting on hold? You can have all of that at no cost to you when you book your vacation with a Disney travel agent!

As authorized Disney vacation planners, we are paid by Disney to help you plan your vacation! Your cost is the same whether you book your vacation with Disney directly or with a Disney travel agent. Most of time, it will actually be CHEAPER to book with a Disney travel agent because there is generally some type of incentive when you book with them.

Take a ride on Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey

Take a ride on Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey

No visit to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando’s Islands of Adventure is complete without a ride on the Forbidden Journey.   Hogwarts is the center of all that encompasses Harry Potter. I imagine that all Harry Potter fans who enter these walls are filled with a joy they cannot describe. It is quite possibly the most amazing attraction I have ever seen.  There is not a single detail missing on this adventure from the moment you step inside Hogwarts to the moment you depart the building.

The ride does not offer the Universal Express Pass Option (during  peak busy times you will see a fast pass like box near rides), but there is a single rider line that will move very quickly if you don’t mind splitting up.  This is a very intense, fast paced ride, although only 48 inches is the height requirement you may want to ride first to see if it will be too scary for your child.  If you decide that the ride is too intense and the other parent wants to ride, Universal does offer Child Swap on this attraction, just tell a cast member by ride entrance.
