Scotland added for 2013 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival
Are you ready for the, 2013 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, with food, wine, beers and cocktails taking center stage around the World Showcase Promenade.
Look for classic Scottish dishes that are still in the development phase, but the cocktail of choice will be a Rusty Nail, a popular Scotch whisky martini that is simply Scotch and Drambuie. Scotland is just one of more than 25 ethnic and specialized marketplaces.
Hawaii is back with the fab pork slider, as well as the vegan Terra Marketplace that debuted last year.
Soarin’ Over the Horizon Coming to Disney California Adventure and Epcot in 2016
Hey there guys and gals, Anonymouse here! It’s a great day for some Disney gossip, don’t ya think? Well, I had to search high and low to find this to share with you, but I think you’ll be pretty excited to hear the news! Soarin’ Over the Horizon may be coming to Disney California Adventure Park and Epcot in 2016.
My Disney friends are talking about a long-anticipated update to the Soarin’ attractions at Disney California Adventure and Epcot. Although you may have heard this before, we are now hearing they are expected to be updated and open in 2016.
The new version of the Soarin’ attractions will debut at Shanghai Disneyland with the name “Soarin’ Over The Horizon”. It is expected to use the current Soarin’ ride system, but will dramatically expand the scope of the current ride movie, which as of now only shows a range of areas in California.
2013 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival
Are you a food fanatic and wine enthusiast? The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will return to the Walt Disney World Resort from September 27 – November 11, 2013.
Throughout the festival you will be able to delight in outstanding food, fun and entertainment.
Here are some highlights you can look forward to at the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival, including:
Choosing which Disney World Park to Visit
Choosing which Disney World Park to visit each day on your vacation can be difficult. Different Disney guests choose which park they will visit each day in different ways. Some will use a plan found in a guide book. Some will base it on Extra Magic Hours. Others will use Touring Plans or another site that gives historical data and helps you choose the lowest crowds. Others will just choose because they don’t know any better. But have you ever considered choosing your park based on the days weather?
If you wake up and it’s a beautiful, sunny, Florida day, I would suggest heading to the Magic Kingdom. The pretty skies and sunny weather will make the outdoor attractions like Astro Orbiter, Dumbo the Flying Elephant and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad perfect. There are also so many great photo opportunities at the Magic Kingdom, especially with the New Fantasyland opened, where blue skies will make the shot amazing.
Best Quick Service Dining Spot in Epcot
Epcot, among many things, offers the most diverse choices when it comes to dining. It is a park that is home to some of the best quick service options throughout Walt Disney World.
I have gathered what I believe to be the five best bets for quick service if you are at this park.
1. Sunshine Seasons- Located in The Land Pavilion this quick serve location offers up pretty much any type of food you can imagine. This makes it a great choice for families with a variety or pallets to please! Pick from diverse items such as sweet and sour chicken, Caesar Salad, rotisserie chicken, or even paninis and sushi! Don’t forget to check out the yummy treats in the bakery case either! Bonus: This place is open for breakfast too!
