‘Perception: The Complete First Season’ Comes to DVD May 21, 2013
The ABC Studios TV series, ‘Perception’, starring Eric McCormack is coming to DVD on May 21, 2013. The show currently airs on TNT, and will start its second season on June 25, 2013, so the DVD is perfectly timed for the start of the new season. I haven’t seen the show yet, but it definitely has me intrigued. The plot follows Daniel, a brilliant, but off kilter, neuroscience professor who is hired by the FBI to assist cases they can’t crack. Daniel has an understanding of the human mind that no one else seems to, but his eccentric personality makes it hard for him to connect with those around him. His former student, Kate Moretti (Rachel Leigh Cook), is the only person willing to deal with Daniel’s personality, and is there to help him while he cracks the tough cases.
I get the distinct feeling this show is very Sherlock Holmes in feeling and tone, which makes me even more excited to watch it. I’m a huge fan of the character, it sounds like it’s been a major influence on this show, and the character. I could be wrong, so fans can definitely let me know, but I definitely get the idea when I read about it. This is definitely going to be very fun to watch, so I can’t wait to delve into it, and catching up before season 2 begins next month. Hit the jump for the full press release for the upcoming release, and check out the trailer for the first season. Also, keep an eye for our review in the next few weeks, to hear what I thought about the show. Are you a fan of ‘Perception’? Let me know in the comments below, only here at Chip and Company!

I was recently sent this DVD to review, and let me tell you-it’s super cute! Of course, we’ve seen some of these episodes on TV, but now my daughter can watch them over and over again. I’m always amazed at the sweet, important lessons that someone like Doc McStuffins has to teach young people. I noticed in a few of the episodes that Doc genuinely cares for her brother-Donny. I thought this was so sweet, and a great message for the littles watching it. Not only does Doc McStuffins care for her family, but she teaches young people the importance of health and taking care of yourself from a young age. I think this is a must add to any family DVD collection! AND, WE’RE GIVING AWAY A COPY TO ONE LUCKY READER! YOU’LL FIND DETAILS FOR ENTERING TO WIN A COPY OF YOUR OWN AT THE END OF THE POST.
