Disney Pic of the Day – Michael J Fox at Disneyland
Michael J. Fox took his whole family to Disneyland on Monday. Seen below is Fox with wife Tracy Pollan and their children Esme, 8, twins Schuyler and Aquinnah, 14, and Sam, 20, posing in Walt Disney’s antique fire truck outside the newly re-opened ‘Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln’ attraction.
Disney Pic of the Day – Siemens Smart Chopper
Now through January 30, 2010, you can find the Siemens Smart Chopper on display at Epcot in Innoventions East. Also called the “green machine”, the bike is touring the country for one year to promote the message of sustainability and green technologies. Siemens has teamed up with Orange County Chopper in California to build its first custom, electric American chopper made from new and recycled materials. The company plans to auction the vehicle in 2010 and donate the proceeds to charity.
Disney Pic of the day – Earliest Official Candlelight Photo from 1959
Candlelight started in 1958 at Disneyland park, but the first photo Disney has of the ceremony is from 1959. The colors are so vivid, and Main Street, U.S.A. looks much like it does today. It seems as if the photo was just taken yesterday. However, if you look a little more closely, you’ll notice that the members of the choir are sporting various looks from the ’50s.
