Top 10 Ways to Know if You’re an Extreme Disney Fan: Part 3
Chances are that if you are like myself and the other writers here at Chip and Co., you are a Extreme Disney Fan. We have yet to find a cure, but the symptoms of this condition are rather obvious. Most likely your own friends and family have pointed them out to you or questioned your sanity time or two. Still not sure? Check out my Top 10 Ways to Know If You’re an Extreme Disney Fan: Part 3!
1. You have referred to your fork as a dinglehopper. (Once or twice, maybe.)
2. You always get a map when you walk into one of the Disney parks; but not because you need one, but so you can add it your collection in your office cubicle. (You have to get a new one when they change the pictures!)
3. All you know about raising children came from Mary Poppins.
4. You do all of your Christmas shopping at Disneystore.com. (Especially when there’s a great sale!)
5. If someone asks you for directions, you say something like this, “Second star to the right and straight on till morning!” (Now I’m not the greatest with directions, but this makes total sense to me!)
6. You are more excited than your kids about The Lion King 3D! (I remember seeing this movie in theaters, now I can’t wait to see it again in 3D!)
7. Your knowledge of philosophy comes from the Disney movie musical numbers, such as “Bare Necessities” and “Hakuna Matata.” (Who says movies aren’t educational?)
8. At your the elementary school job fair, your kids are confused that there isn’t a table for Imagineers. (I always wanted to be an Imagineer when I grew up!)
9. You begin planning your next trip to Disney before your current trip is even over. (Guilty.)
10. Your kid’s teacher looks confused when your child says that they visited France, Germany, Japan, and Morocco all in one day! (This is a great opportunity to ask for your child’s homework in advance, since your taking them out of school for another trip to Disney!)
Have you shown any of these symptoms? If so, you are probably an extreme Disney fan so be sure to comment below and share with others who share your condition.

Bambi II Blu-ray and DVD Combo Pack Review
In Disney’s Bambi II, join Bambi (Alexander Gould) as he is reunited with his father the Great Prince (Patrick Stewart) who must raise the young fawn and teach him the ways of the forest. Proud and distant at first, the Great Prince finds that there is much he can learn from his son. All of the lovable characters from the original film, Thumper, Flower, and Owl, return as well as some new friends.
I sat down to watch this movie with a bias that I was probably not going to enjoy it. I was pleasantly surprised when I began to enjoy it. I loved the father son story. As the Great Prince begins teaching Bambi how a Prince should act, he starts to get to know his son and sees that there are a few things that he could learn from his son. Thumper and Flower are there for comic relief and I am sure they will be your children’s favorites. Overall I think it is a cute film that you can enjoy with your family. My criticism is that they advertise that the animation is in the “breathtaking” style of the original classic. While I can see the similarities in the animation, this film doesn’t come close to the beauty of the original.
The Blu Ray combo pack has two new bonus features. In Friend Owl’s Forest Fun Games you follow Owl through the forest and help some of his friends. I think it would be a great game for small children but might be too easy for older kids. There is also a deleted song, “Sing the Day”, that was intended to be in the original film. They place it back into the film and show the storyboards where the film was shortened. Honestly, I’m glad it wasn’t included in the movie.

The Princess and the Frog Trailer & Info

The Princess and the Frog is an upcoming 2009 American animated family feature film and presented by Walt Disney Animation Studios. It will be the 49th animated feature in the Walt Disney Animated Classics and the first 2D-animated film by Disney since 2004′s Home on the Range. It is being directed by John Musker and Ron Clements, directors of The Great Mouse Detective, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Hercules, and Treasure Planet, with songs and score composed by Randy Newman and with the voices of Anika Noni Rose (as Princess Tiana), Oprah Winfrey,[2] Keith David, Jim Cummings, John Goodman, Jenifer Lewis, Bruno Campos, Michael-Leon Wooley, Peter Bartlett and Terrence Howard.[3]
The film, which began production under the working title The Frog Princess, will be an American fairy tale, Broadway-style musical set in the French Quarter of New Orleans. A prince named Naveen from the land of Maldonia[4] is transformed into a frog by the evil scheming voodoo magician Dr. Facilier. The frog prince asks a princess named Tiana to break the spell by kissing him. However, the kiss doesn’t break the spell, but instead turns Tiana into a frog as well. Together, the two of them must reach the good voodoo priestess of the Bayou, Mama Odie, while befriending a trumpet-playing alligator and a hopelessly romantic firefly along the way. The film is set to be released on December 11, 2009.
As shown on the Disney Channel, featurette for The Princess and the Frog takes a behind the scenes look at the film with director Ron Clements and John Musker.
