New Policy on Advanced Dining Reservations at Disneyland

New Policy on Advanced Dining Reservations at Disneyland

Hey there guys and gals, Anonymouse here! It’s a great day for more Disney gossip, don’t ya think? Well, good news, I have some insider information to share with you! This time, I had to travel a little farther to bring you this news, it’s all the way from Disneyland!

Disneyland will be making some changes to its policy on advanced dining reservations. As most of you know, most table-service locations at Walt Disney World require a credit-card guarantee to hold your reservation. If your party does not make it to your reservation, your credit card is charged $10 per person on the reservation. Until now, Disneyland has not required a credit card guarantee, but will now be adopting the same credit card guarantee as is required at Disney World.

The Wave heralds the end of Florida’s Spring Season with the finest Triple Sweet Corn from Long & Scott Farm in Zellwood. Hank Scott and family recently celebrated the 50th anniversary of their farm with the Central Florida community. Long & Scott’s agri-tainment division, Scott’s Maze Adventures, hosts over 30,000 guests each fall. The farm also boasts Scott’s Country Market, an on-site farmer’s market that features produce grown on the farm, as well as local produce. Long & Scott’s newest venture – Scott’s Country Café, features the Scott family recipes, most of which are made from the café’s own garden. The Scotts remain proud of their farm and are looking forward to celebrating their 51st anniversary in 2014.

Disney World Mobile Guide Review

Disney World Mobile Guide Review

Using my iPhone in the Disney parks is a must.  I am always looking for new apps to make our Disney vacation more productive, easy going, and fun.  I recently was able to review the new Disney World Mobile Guide from TimeStream Software, and I honestly love it.

  • I can use it outside the parks {like here in my own home}.  I like that feature because it helps me with planning.  There are a few Disney parks apps that only work when you are physically in the parks.  That’s great, but when I’m trying to plan and get ideas for my next trip, I can use the Disney World Mobile Guide from home.
  • It’s a HUGE wealth of Disney information.  If you can’t access the internet very well from your iPhone, I highly suggest downloading this app.  I say this because it has ticket information and explanations, pricing, phone numbers for resorts, quick Disney tips, and so much more.  It’s awesome, because sometimes I’m in a place where the connection is slow, and to get on to Chip & Co, or even the Disney website, takes forever.  Here, I can quickly look up advice about meeting characters, tips for traveling with toddlers, and some vacation planning tips when I need them.

New Eatery for Morocco Pavilion in World Showcase at Epcot

New Eatery for Morocco Pavilion in World Showcase at Epcot

Look for a new waterfront eatery by the end of this year at the Morocco Pavilion in World Showcase at Epcot. Spice Road Table will feature various small plates and refreshments inspired by the cuisine of the Mediterranean. With seating both indoors and out, it’s a welcome addition to the line-up along World Showcase Lagoon.

We shared this news at the end of last year. For more details check out this article.

Stay tuned for other “enhancements” to the pavilion and more news on Spice Road Table as menus are finalized.
