Walt Disney World Resort Refurbishments Update for May 2013
Disney World Refurbishment/closure information is subject to change without notice and should be confirmed just prior to visiting. Updated information is available at the Disney World Website.
Current
- BoardWalk Bakery (BoardWalk Resort) closed through 4/26/13 for expansion. A coffee cart will be available on the BoardWalk during this time.
- Mad Tea Party (Magic Kingdom) closed through 5/21/13 for refurbishment.
- Anandapur Ice Cream Truck (Animal Kingdom) closed through 5/24/13 for refurbishment.
- Main Street Bakery (Magic Kingdom) closed through 6/18/13 for conversion to a Starbucks location.
- Tower Club Concierge Lounge and entire 14th floor (Contemporary Resort) closed through late Summer 2013 for refurbishment.
- The Spa at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort closed through Summer 2013. Guests can use Senses – A Disney Spa at the Grand Floridian.
- California Grill (Contemporary Resort) closed until late Summer 2013 for refurbishment.
- Fountain View (Epcot) closed until Fall 2013 for conversion to a Starbucks location.

- Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress (Magic Kingdom) closed 5/13/13-5/15/13 for refurbishment.
- Cinderella’s Royal Table (Magic Kingdom) closed 5/13/13-5/16/13 for refurbishment.
- Beach Pool Slide (Grand Floridian Resort) closed 5/27/13-6/1/13 for refurbishment.
- Beach Pool (Grand Floridian Resort) closed 5/30/13-6/1/13 for refurbishment. Guests can use the Courtyard Pool during this time.
- Pirates of the Caribbean (Magic Kingdom) closed 6/17/13-6/21/13 for refurbishment.

Here is this months Walt Disney World Resort Refurbishments Update for April 2013. Refurbishment/closure information is subject to change without notice and should be confirmed just prior to visiting.
Current
- Blizzard Beach closed through 3/16/13 for annual refurbishment.
- Splash Mountain (Magic Kingdom) closed through 3/19/13 for refurbishment.
- 12th Floor Atrium Club Level Lounge (Contemporary Resort) closed through 3/22/13 for refurbishment.
- Epcot Character Spot (Epcot) closed through 3/29/13. A temporary location is available near the Fountain View Ice Cream shop where you can see Mickey, Minnie and Pluto. Goofy is appearing at Epcot’s main entrance, near Spaceship Earth.
- Courtyard Pool and Pool Bar (Grand Floridian Resort) closed through March 2013 for refurbishment. A zero-entry slope will be added.
- BoardWalk Bakery (BoardWalk Resort) closed through 4/26/13 for expansion. A coffee cart will be available on the BoardWalk during this time.
- Main Street Bakery (Magic Kingdom) closed through 6/18/13 for Starbucks conversion.

Please be advised that Disneyland Refurbishment information is subject to change without notice and should be confirmed just prior to visiting.
Disneyland Park
- Now – May 22, 2013: Troubadour Tavern will be closed.
- Jan. 7-17, 2013: Big Thunder Ranch Petting Farm will be closed.
- Jan. 7-17, 2013: The Haunted Mansion will be closed.
- Jan. 7-24, 2013: Primeval World will be closed for refurbishment.
- Jan. 7-10, 14-17, 21-24, 28-31, Feb. 4-7, 11-14, 18-21, 25-28, 2013: Big Thunder Trail will be closed for refurbishment. Big Thunder Ranch Complex will be closed as well.
- Jan. 7 – Feb. 4, April. 8-11, 22- 25, April. 19 – May 2, 6 – 9, 13 – 16, 20 – 23, 2013: Tom Sawyer’s Island Cider Mill will be closed; however the Island will remain open.

- Test Track (Epcot) closed through 11/30/12 for transformation to the Chevrolet Design Center.
- Grand Floridian Spa (Grand Floridian Resort) closed through mid-2013 due to construction at the resort. The Grand Floridian Fitness Center will remain open and guests may use The Spa at Saratoga Springs Resort.
