‘Army Wives: Season Six Part One’ DVD Review
Lifetime’s hit drama ‘Army Wives’ has come home once again on DVD in this ‘Season Six: Part One’ release. One of the network’s most popular shows, ‘Army Wives’ follows the lives of a group of woman, all wives of men in the 23rd Airborne Division, based out of Fort Marshall in in South Carolina. The series is a great drama, almost a nighttime soap opera if you will, and one that I can see why so many love. Disney has given this hit show a pretty good release, featuring the first thirteen episodes of the sixth season together, but it’s fairly light on special features, which makes this package a bit light. But that doesn’t make the set any less desirable for fans of the series who will just be happy to have this new season on DVD.

Fans of the Disney produced, Lifetime drama, ‘Army Wives’ will be happy to see that ‘Army Wives: The Complete Sixth Season – Part One’ is coming to DVD on September 18, 2012. The show follows the military families in Fort Marshall, SC as these military wives come closer together dealing with all the hardships that life continues to put the, through. It’s one of the most emotionally fueled shows I’ve ever seen, and I know fans of the series will be happy to have this first part of the sixth season on DVD.

This is a show I know quite a few people watch, including people in my own family, so I know they’ll be very happy to know that the ‘Army Wives’ are on their way home for the sixth season on September 18, 2012. The show follows the military families in Fort Marshall, SC as they deal with the ongoing hardships that life throws at them. This latest DVD is offering all thirteen of season six’s episodes, and will retail around $40. Are you excited to get your hands on the sixth season? London-born actress Catherine Bell, star of the Lifetime Network drama series “Army Wives,” poses Oct. 24, 2010 with her daughter Gemma, age 7, and Minnie Mouse at the Magic Kingdom in Lake Buena Vista, Fla. Bell’s latest movie, “The Good Witch’s Gift,” will premiere on the Hallmark Channel on Nov. 13, 2010.
For nine seasons, Bell also starred on the long-running drama series “JAG.”
