‘LIVE with Kelly and Michael’ Tapings at Magic Kingdom Park in WDW

On Feb. 18 and 19, LIVE with Kelly and Michael will be shooting four shows from the middle of Town Square at Magic Kingdom Park!
Exactly a year ago, ABC had so much fun doing a week of shows with Kelly from Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa in Hawai’i. This year Kelly and Michael will be packing up their families to make some Disney memories at the Walt Disney World Resort — their first official visit here together! And the best part is — you can request tickets to be part of the audience!

ABC Considering ‘Star Wars’ TV Series
In October, word broke that Disney had acquired LucasFilm, to much shock to the industry and onlookers. Disney and LucasFilm have had a very good working relationship for a long time, so the two merging made sense. With the announcement, we also learned that we would be getting ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ in 2015. But there were many unknown variables to the deal, including what else we would be seeing now from the ‘Star Wars’ universe. One thing I kept wondering about was what had happened to the LucasFilm’s planned series, ‘Star Wars: Underworld‘, a series set between the two trilogies, dealing with much of the seedy underbelly of the universe, such as mobsters and bounty hunters, while leaving it open to have appearances from characters that we’d come to love from the films. Now it looks like the series could see a second life, thanks to ABC.
Play Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade Bingo with Kit from Spoonful.com
We’ve been sharing updates on the upcoming Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade taking place at the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts, and tomorrow everyone will get to enjoy the magic when the parade airs Christmas morning on ABC. While the parade is a spectacle on its own, I recently found something that I think will up the fun factor even more.
Our friends at Spoonful.com have created a Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade Bingo game, in which your family can compete in a classic round of Bingo while enjoying the parade. You could even create special prizes using other treat and craft ideas in the Christmas section of Spoonful.com.

It was feeling a lot like Christmas at Disneyland park this weekend, as Disney shot segments for the 2012 Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade. Here’s a look at what you can expect when the special airs December 25 on ABC-TV.

Walt Disney Co. Urges Court of Appeal to Overturn $319 Million ‘Millionaire’ Verdict
The Walt Disney Company legal eagles showed up in full force on Wednesday seeking to overturn a $319 million dollar judgement over profits from the ABC hit TV show “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire“.
The Disney lawyers contend that the 2010 jury verdict was caused because of an improper reading of a 1999 contract with the UK-based Celador (who gave ABC and Buena Vista of North America the rights to the program). Disney claims the jury improperly awarded Celador a share of revenue generated by ABC when they were only entitled to 50%. They are seeking a new trial on the issue of contract interpretation.
Celador argues back that the jury was correct because they found that Disney had engaged in self-dealing transactions to keep ad revenue for ABC without sister company Buena Vista earning a profit which in turn they would have to share with Celador in accordance to the agreement.
Millionaire, hosted by Regis Philbin was a huge hit on ABC from 1999 to 2002, airing as often as 4 or 5 nights a week. A syndicated version of the show still airs in many markets.
