The Walt Disney World Swan evacuated 200 rooms on the morning of Oct 21st in response to a suspicious device found on the hotel’s seventh floor.

Orange County Sheriff’s Office was called at 10:00 a.m. by a member of the hotel construction crew working on hotel renovations. Local bomb squad was called to the scene to investigate and evacuated the fifth through ninth floors as a precautionary measure.

Though no description of the device was released, it was quickly deemed a hoax. It is not known who left the device and the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call local authorities.
