Ever wondered what the food from the Star Wars saga tastes like? Now you can find out! We got to taste the amazing Disney Chef’s creations during the Star Wars Day at Sea preview onboard the Disney Fantasy Cruise Ship!
After entering The Animator’s Palette, our culinary adventure began with a beautifully themed menu and bread service. Our amazing server, Danjiel asked if we needed any dietary accommodations and was so helpful throughout the entire meal! They even had gluten free bread for those of us with allergies!
Chip and Lisette had the Appetizer Sampler consisting of the Marinated Opee Sea Killer, Sand People Salad, and Mos Espa Grand Arena Tailgate Sandwich. Yum!
Tooti and I had an allergy-friendly version of the appetizer sampler, with modifications made for our specific allergies.
For entrees, Tooti had the Grilled Alderaan Fish Filet (Swordfish), which was marked as gluten-free and dairy-free on the menu!
Chip had Kit Fisto’s Crisp Chicken…
And Obi-Wan Shroom Steak.
I had an allergy-friendly version of the Obi-Wan Shroom Steak, but with mushrooms instead of the steak. The curry sauce was such a nice, light pairing for the heavy flavors of the mushrooms. Delish!
Lisette had Grand Moff Tarkin’s Spiced Pork Tenderloin… that chorizo hash! Mmmmm!
For the dessert sampler, Chip and Lisette had Cairissian Velvet Cake, Cloud City Macarons, and NSA – Galactic Senator Bail Organa Flan. That macaron was too cute!
The chefs were so kind to send Tooti out an allergy-friendly Crème Brulee.
Then they even send me out a flourless chocolate cake! It was so gooey and delicious!
