Riders evacuated from Splash Mountain in the Magic Kingdom

Reports are coming in that riders on Splash Mountain in the Magic Kingdom needed to evacuated earlier this evening. According to several news outlets a leaf fell on a sensor forcing the ride to stop.

Riders were then evacuated and the Reedy Creek Fire Department was called in to assist guest with disabilities.


A Disney spokesperson said nobody was injured and the safety measures did what they were programmed to do.

According to post on Twitter the ride is back up and running.
