The Enchanted Tiki Room %tagLocation: Adventureland

Description:  Originally opening in 1971, the original Tiki Room was called Tropical Serenade and mimicked the ride over in Disneyland.  It was a polynesian-style musical review lead by 4 main birds: Michael, Pierre, Fritz, and Jose.  In 1998, Tropical Serenade was refurbished and became The Enchanted Tiki Room: Under New Management.  Here, Iago from Aladdin accompanied by Zazu from the Lion King stole the show.  These new “managers” lead to a completely reshaped show, but still paid homage to the original fab four birds who remained a part of the show, as did the signature music.

In March 2011 when a fire closed the Tiki Room doors, Imagineers went to work to reshape the attraction once again.  This time, as a more nostalgic representation of the original show.  This is a great place to beat the Florida heat! This ten minutes show is tucked away in Adventureland and rarely has had a wait in the past.  Surely the revamped ride will bring in more viewers but it will surely remaining a ten minute reprieve!

Average Wait Times: This is an often overlooked attraction and therefore often not crowded! Maybe its people who are rushing to get their Dole Whips on their way through this area!
