Location: Frontierland

Description:  Walt Disney World’s one and only flume ride is located at Splash Mountain. Based on Disney’s 1946 movie Song of the South, this ride opened in Disney World in 1992. You will find Splash Mountain right next to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. This eleven minute ride features a 52.5 foot drop that is set at a 45 degree angle. Logs reach speeds of 40mph as they descend the drop! Zip-a-dee-do-dah!

Average Wait Times: Splash Mountain is a Fastpass attraction and using this option is highly recommended. A great time saver is to fastpass either Splash or Big Thunder Mountain and then wait standby for the other. By the time you have ridden the first ride; your fastpass window will be approaching!
