One of our absolute favorite places in the Magic Kingdom. Mainly because of a lovely stranger. Our first visit to Disney, she handed me 2 jewels secretly and told me to put them in my children’s hands when Ariel opened her jewel box. We did it and they were overjoyed with their “jewels from Disney”. My son (who was 5 at the time) carried his in his pocket the rest of the week. We did this again the next visit, this time including my husband and I in the receiving. My daughter (at 12) still can’t figure out how Disney gets the jewels to everyone! (wink) What a lovely, lovely memory for my family!
