Hollywood & Vine

hollywood and vine

Hollywood & Vine features daily buffets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.  The restaurant’s art deco decor is meant to bring guests back to the golden age of Hollywood.   Hollywood and Vine offers several unique dining experiences.  For breakfast and lunch, it is a character buffet.  Disney Junior characters make their way around to each table to interact with guests.  You can get autographs and photos with them.  As Disney changes shows and characters every so often, so do they change at the character meal.

In the spirit of Disney Junior, expect sing-a-longs, dance-a-longs, and even some playing while you eat! Because this is the only character dining experience at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, reservations book up fast so try and make yours as close to your 180 day out mark as possible!  Also, you can enjoy Hollywood and Vine as part of the Fantasmic Dinner Package.  If you choose to make a reservation here during the dinner times, you will be given a voucher.  This entitles you to a seat at that evening’s Fantasmic show.  All meals at Hollywood and Vine are buffet style, which makes it great for everyone in your party!  This is one table service credit if you are using the Disney Dining Plan.  You can see their full menu HERE.

Overall, we give Hollywood and Vine an “A”.

  1. I’ve never given a CC when making an ADR at WDW. Maybe only for a special event or seating like for instance “Cinderella’s Royal Table” but not for a regular reservation for a table service or character dining. Hope that helps.

  2. We went for the character lunch. “Play and Dine at Hollywood & Vine”.. well I have to admit, out of all the character experiences we’ve been to, this one was the least desirable. The food wasn’t really that good, it was bland and not a lot of variety for the price. The characters which were the characters of Jojo Circus and Little Einstein were ok, they did interact with the kids, signed autographs and took pics, but really they weren’t that upbeat.. Maybe it was just an off day, I don’t know, but I really won’t be going back to this one anytime soon unless maybe some changes are made.

  3. Best breakfast buffet we had on our trip! The make your own omelet bar makes it a head above the rest.

  4. Does the buffet have healthy choices and foods that children (ages 9, 7, and.2) will eat without a fuss? I have not had any people to comment on the food here on other sites. Please be honest with your reply.
