Wolfgang Puck

Pizza

Wolfgang Puck, the famous foodie from Food Network, has made his presence known at Downtown Disney.  He has two restaurants there, both of which can’t be beat.

Wolfgang Puck Express

With locations in the Marketplace and West Side, Express is a counter service restaurant that offers quick options for Wolfgang Puck favorites.  This is one of the best values on the QSD plan.  Yes, QSD!  Wolfgang Puck Express is a quick service credit with a table service feel.  This restaurant has wood fired pizzas, pastas, salads, and a calming atmosphere.  The service is wonderful, and the food is one of the best QSD options on Disney property.

Wolfgang Puck Cafe

Located on the West Side, this is the first of the Wolfgang Puck restaurants to come to Disney World.  At this Wolfgang Puck location, the menu is a bit more expanded.  Sushi, California-grill type menu items, as well as the pastas, salads, and pizzas are on the menu.  This location counts as one Table Service credit for EACH person on your dining plan.

Wolfgang Puck-The Dining Room

This is the creme de la creme of the Wolfgang Puck locations at Downtown Disney.  This restaurant is RESERVATION ONLY, and is not part of the Disney Dining Plan.  It is a sophisticated, classy restaurant that is great for couples or families celebrating special occasions.

Good tips to know:

  • Check the Wolfgang Puck location before dining to see if you need reservations.
  • Wolfgang Puck Express can get very busy during peak dining times.  It’s a good idea to visit for a late lunch or late dinner as opposed to prime dining hours.
  • Wolfgang Puck-the Dining Room is located ABOVE the Wolfgang Puck Cafe on Downtown Disney’s Westside.
  • Wolfgang Puck Express also serves Quick Service Breakfast versions of meals found at Wolfgang Puck Cafe and Wolfgang Puck-the Dining Room

Overall, we give all the Wolfgang Puck restaurant options an “A-“.

  1. We tried this for the first time on our past trip and the food was amazing! We had several different kinds of pizza and you can’t go wrong with any of them. My kids loved the mac and cheese and the desserts were awesome as well. Definitely worth your counter service credit if you are on the dining plan.

  2. One our family’s favorite places to eat is Wolfgang puck express especially because it feels like a table service when it’s iny a quick service. My favorite breakfast is the French toast with cereal on the outside delicious. For lunch and dinner I prefer the pizzas ,but if you would rather have a more filling meal for dinner the meatloaf is great. For dessert the crembrûlée is great and so is the cheesecake but I you just ate that very large meatloaf a prewrapped cookie (I think they also have brownies) which are perfect to take along of you are to full to eat on your room later. We often would do this it saved us from having to use a snack credit for something at the hotel.

  3. The Wolfgang Puck Express at Downtown Disney Marketplace is worth the trip even if you never shop. The lunch was really good (I’ve had adult meals and kids’ meals and all were wonderful.) The breakfasts, however, are simply outstanding! My favorite is the breakfast pocket. It’s got eggs, cheese, ham, onions, etc. inside a pizza pocket and comes with a huge amount of breakfast potatoes thst are equally good. The pizza crust alone is amazing, but all of the ingredients together? Oh my…. This restaurant is kind of cool in that it’s like a cross between a quick serve restaurant and table serve restaurant. You order at the register, but they bring your food to your table and refill drinks, etc. The service is attentive without being pushy. Even though it’s technically a quick serve restaurant, it doesn’t feel like one.
