Disney’s Polynesian Resort is one of the original resorts, having opened with Walt Disney World in 1971.  It is conveniently located along the monorail route which makes it easily accessible to all Disney World guests.  When you arrive you are greeted with an “Aloha!” and a lei, and you are immediately transported into the South Pacific.  My personal favorite, and a vacation within a vacation, the Polynesian Resort has a large area of options for dining.

Tambu Lounge offers a variety of appetizers and drinks, and can be found in the Great Ceremonial House.
