Best of the Best! Food is excellent, service none better. V & A’s was exceptional! Our servers were magnificent. There was a harpist playing throughout dinner. I had never been to such a nice place before. The food was better than delicious. DH had: Amuse Bouche-melon prepared four ways, Duck with Pickled and Roasted Beet Salad, Beet “Air”, Poached Quail with Black Mission Figs and Fuji Apples, Alaskan Red King Salmon with Ramps and Demi-Tasse Cup of Smoked Salmon, Roasted Niman Ranch Lamb with Artichokes and Zellwood Corn, Colston Bassett Stilton, Pierre Robert and Aged Parmesan and Tanzanian Chocolate Pyramid, Hawaiian Kona Chocolate Soufflé,And Peruvian Chocolate Ice Cream and Puff Pastry Fresh Ground, Fresh Brewed Coffee. I had Amuse Bouche-melon prepared four ways, Jumbo Lump and Peeky Toe Crab with Zuckerman’s Farm Asparagus Salad, Minnesota Elk Tenderloin with Braised Red Cabbage and Mustard Spaetzle, Shrimp Kataifi with Baby Bok Choy and Coconut Emulsion, Kurobuta Pork Tenderloin and Belly with Banana Squash Ragout, White Chocolate Gelato with Fraise du Boise and Tableside Shavings and Tanzanian Chocolate Pyramid, Hawaiian Kona Chocolate Soufflé, And Peruvian Chocolate Ice Cream and Puff Pastry Fresh Ground, Fresh Brewed Coffee. It was the best meal I have ever had. As we were celebrating our honeymoon, the pastry chef gave us candies-a chocolate truffle, an apricot gummy thing and a lemon cookie. UMMMM. They also gave us a loaf of apricot date bread that we enjoyed the next morning. Delish!
