We always try to eat here, although it’s sometimes difficult to get a reservation. We look at it as a late lunch or an early dinner since they’re open from 2 until 5. The room is beautifully set up, and it’s such a relaxing break in your day. I found out that they will customize your tea sandwiches if you ask. Normally, you get a variety of sandwiches. While I like several of them, I really like the chicken curry sandwiches, so I order all chicken curry. We usually do the tea that includes the five mini sandwiches, a scone, a jam tart, an onion tart(really good…comes with the sandwiches, I think), two pastries (from a nice selection), and…of course…your choice of tea. Your tea arrives in either a standard pot or a press pot depending on what you choose. They have have an extensive menu. Apparently, you can now purchase some tea to take home as well. This is so good, and quite filling. We plan our day carefully around our tea reservation.
