Quick Look:
Layout: The Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is reminiscent of a turn of the century luxury resort hotel. It’s rooms are all easily accessible and offer an easy transition to any park. View the map here for more details.
Rooms: Like most other Deluxe resorts there are room levels from standard to club level concierge here. Rooms follow the 19th century elegance theme of the resort.
Shopping: There are many shopping options at GF including Basin, Summer Lace, Sandy Cove, M. Mouse Mercantile, and Commander Porter’s
Recreation: The Mouseketeer Club is the Children’s program at Grand Floridian, there is also an arcade, golf, fitness club, salon and spa, tennis, and even a campfire sing-a-long seasonally!
Pools: There are two large pools here as well as whirpools and a children’s pool
Tips: This is the flagship resort of Walt Disney World resort, which makes it the most expensive so be sure to look out for pin codes (I always feel like getting my email address in the Disney Parks system as many times as possible helps by ordering maps and the planning DVD). Also be sure to take advantage of all there is to do and see here, including Wishes from the beach!
