Whether you are staying in Animal Kingdom Lodge or at the adjacent villas there are many different exciting and exotic dining options at this savannah themed (down to live animals living and roaming the grounds) resort.  Thanks to the addition of Kidani Village there are now three different options for sit down restaurants alone!

Stop into The Mara for all of your food court needs during your stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge.  You can pick up quick meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as purchase and refill your resort refill mugs here.  There is also indoor and outdoor seating here in case you want to enjoy a meal while you are spending your morning, afternoon, or evening, poolside.

Besides having a food court, you will also find that the resort boasts two lounges. Cape Town Lounge and Wine Bar is located above Jiko and is a great stop for a before or after dinner drink!  At the Victorian Falls Lounge you can enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and appetizers with a drink from a fun and exotic menu that includes some African-inspired cocktails.

Mara is a great choice for quick service. Lots of options and great pricing. We eat here a lot when we stay, the walk from AKV isn’t too bad!!! (2009,2011)

We stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge all the time, not only is it our home resort, but my favorite place to stay! I was always afraid that the food at Boma would not be for me, but after reading your article I am willing to give it a try when we go in November! Keep up the great work here!!!

Boma is one of my favorite restaurants in Disney! I love being able to go there and get food that I wouldn’t be able to get anywhere else.
