Hollywood Boulevard is probably the first thing that anyone thinks of when they think about Disney’s Hollywood Studios.  That magical Sorcerer’s Hat icon is there in all its glory beckoning you to enjoy the park.  Up at the Sorcerer’s Hat you will find some great little carts that sell snacks, pins, other various souvenirs and sometimes you can even catch Mickey and other characters here!

Along with throngs of shops and old hollywood signs and old-fashioned billboards there is lots of streetmosphere to enjoy at various times of day.   This is also where you can experience the Pixar Pals Countdown to Fun parade! This daily afternoon parade features some of your favorite Pixar characters and lots of music and floats that are sure to get your dancing feet moving!

You can also find two great dining options on Hollywood Boulevard: the yummy Starring Rolls bakery and the signature Hollywood Brown Derby.  The bakery is a great stop for a morning meal or snack, with some outdoor seating and out of the way enough to be pleasant yet still give you a great view for people watching.  Brown Derby, is named for the similar classic restaurant and features a fabulous menu.  It is DHS only signature dining experience and you can even book the “Dine with an Imagineer” package here!

If you have been to Disney in the past (before the Sorcerer hat was put up) you may remember the original park icon.  This is home to my favorite ride in all of DHS: The Great Movie Ride! Ride through classic scenes from some of the most amazing movies ever made on a “spectacular journey”!
