Originally said to open in late 2016, construction on The Edison in Disney Springs is coming along nicely, and it seems likely the restaurant will meet its scheduled opening, later this year. The highly anticipated restaurant and bar will offer a new and unique nighttime experience for Disney Springs visitors with its “Industrial Gothic” style.
The building will be themed to resemble a 1920s electric company and will feature stunning 35 foot ceilings. The Edison is sure to become a popular nighttime spot where guests can enjoy artisanal craft cocktails and nightly entertainment. The entertainment will no doubt be the most unique and diverse in the Disney Springs area, with palm readers, DJs, and contortionists, to name a few.
While there is still more work to be done, the entrance has really taken shape.
