Top 5 Quick Service Dining Locations at Magic Kingdom

Top 5 Quick Service Dining Locations at Magic Kingdom

You’re at the Magic Kingdom, and you need something to eat.  I mean, part of a great Disney vacation is experiencing some of the food they offer, right?  But how do you know what is a good use of your money or your dining credits?  And, when it comes to quick service dining, you want to get a great variety in your meals, too.  So today I want to share with you my Top Five Favorite Quick Service Dining Locations at the Magic Kingdom.

First, what is quick service dining?  Basically, it’s a counter service {think fast food} restaurant.  You walk up to give a Cast Member your order, and then you approach a window to pick it up.  You choose your seat in the restaurant, and there are no reservations necessary.  You don’t quite have the options for meals as you might at a buffet or table service restaurant, but you’ll be surprised at how you can find some yummy, quick food before getting the rest of your touring underway.

  • Pinocchio’s Village Haus.  This is located in Fantasyland, just beside It’s a Small World.  This is one of my favorites because I love their flatbreads!  The Caprese Flatbread is my favorite, but the BBQ Chicken one sounds good, too!  Also, they offer salads, as well as sandwiches.  If you get a seat upstairs, you can watch the boats take off at It’s a Small World Top 5 Quick Service Dining Locations at Magic Kingdom .

Red Widow: The Complete First Season comes to DVD May 28, 2013

Red Widow: The Complete First Season comes to DVD May 28, 2013

After hearing the premise for the TV series Red Widow I was immediately drawn to this compelling family drama. Add in the fact that it was being written by the screenwriter for Twilight, and I was instantly a fan. Filled with murder and intrigue, Red Widow follows housewife Marta Walraven’s dangerous journey into organized crime as she stops at nothing to protect her family. With a plot like that, viewers are sure to be on the edge of their seats. With the release of Red Widow: The Complete First Season on a two disc DVD set May 28th, viewers will get a chance to watch the mayhem as the search continues to uncover the truth about season one’s most explosive murder. This truly is an exciting release, especially for those of us who enjoy DVD extras. This set is jam packed with them, containing deleted scenes (my personal favorite), bloopers, and exclusive content such as “Red Widow Journey” where fans get to join creator Melissa Rosenberg to learn about the creative process behind the development of making the exciting series!

2013 Dates for Dapper Day at Disney

2013 Dates for Dapper Day at Disney

Just as a refresher, what is Dapper Day at Disney and where did it all begin? Organizer Justin Jorgensen is said to have been inspired by the original Imagineer Illustrations of Disney Park designs. These images often portray guests dressed as though they are going out for a very upscale event such as an opera or a maybe a high-end restaurant. Why shouldn’t going to Disney still be on par with such grand affairs? Well, that is what Dapper Day is all about. It is a chance to realize those designer’s dreams. On Dapper Day, you bring those illustrations to life when you become those well dressed guests the designers imagined (or hoped) would be filling the park.

Started spring of 2011, Dapper Day organizes fashionable gatherings at The Disney Resorts in LA, Orlando, and Paris. February 24, 2013 was the date of the latest event.

The coming celebration is expected to be an “evening affair.”
