New Aerial Photos of the Construction Progress for Toy Story Land

Last Thursday Disney announced it would be revealing Toy Story Land’s opening date at this years D23 Expo. We heard from many of you about how excited you were and we couldn’t agree more!

Today we wanted to add to that excitement by sharing some amazing photos taken of the construction progress of Toy Story Land.

New Aerial Photos of the Construction Progress for Toy Story Land

This image gives you a view of the whole Toy Story Land construction site. The red track to the left is the new “Slinky Dog Dash” family coaster. Those four blue circles to the right are part of the “Alien Swirling Saucers” attraction. I flipped the artists rendering (above) of the new land so that they would be oriented similarly (although not perfectly).

Close up photos of the Slinky Dog coaster. It looks like this attraction will be similar to Disney’s Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at the Magic Kingdom.

Close up photos of the Alien Swirling Saucers. This attraction looks to be similar to Disneyland’s Maters Junkyard Jamboree Ride at Cars Land.

To put the whole expansion in perspective, the above image gives the aerial view of both the Toy Story and Star Wars Land 25 acre expansion. To get your bearings, you can see the blue circles of the Alien Swirling Saucers in the top center of the construction area.
