Mulan Live Action Movie Moves Forward

Walt Disney Pictures continues forward with the development of the live action film, Mulan   Producers J.C. Bender, Jake Weiner and Chris Bender are teaming up to bring us Mulan, based on a script written by Lauren Hynek and Elizabeth Martin.

Mulan was released as an animated film in 1998 bringing us the tale of Hua Mulan, a young girl who disguises herself as a solder to replace her father in the army becoming one of the most celebrated heroes in Chinese history.

Walt Disney Pictures has had great success with their recent releases of the live actions movies including Cinderella and have several movies in various stages of development with popular titles like Beauty and the Beast, Dumbo, The Jungle Book and Pete’s Dragon.
