Marvel and Disney announced today that they’ll be working together to publish the wildly popular ‘Toy Story’ series in a brand new comic series. With Marvel now part of Disney, this is a great way for Disney to continue telling stories from some of their favorite characters. Here’s hoping that this leads to a relaunch or continuation of the BOOM! Studios Disney Afternoon series featuring ‘Darkwing Duck’, ‘Ducktales’, and ‘Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers’. All the series just recently wrapped, ending with a crossover between ‘Darkwing Duck’ and ‘Ducktales’ in an arc called ‘Dangerous Currency’. I really like that Marvel and Disney will be working together now to bring us new stories featuring some of the characters. It really shows that Marvel and Disney are working very much in harmony together, and both parties are really benefiting from the merger. Can’t wait to see how the series turns out. Marvel and Disney Publishing Launch All-New TOY STORY #1 Comic
Buzz Lightyear, Woody, and the rest of the gang lead readers to infinity and beyond as Marvel and Disney Publishing debut TOY STORY #1 (of 4). Featuring Toy Story characters from the Disney-Pixar films, Toy Story #1 delivers entirely new content and stories to comic fans.
