Lucas Rumored to Attend Star Tours 2 Reopening at Star Wars Weekends

According to several internet sources including TheForce.Net it is rumored that “The Notorious” George Lucas may be attending the reopening of Star Tours II during the kick-off week Star Wars Weekends. According to reports here’s what has been posted:

“I have a friend who is a coordinator at Hollywood studios that was told all vacation plans on opening day needed to be canceled… because all hands on deck needed for Georges arrival.”

Lucas’ involvement in the reopening has not been confirmed by Lucasfilm at this time.

Star Tours: The Adventures Continue reopens at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on May 20, 2011 and at Disneyland in California, on June 3, 2011.
