The 24 hour event is fast approaching, I know I can’t wait. I know you are wondering and planning what you are going to eat and snack on to keep your energy going so you can make the full 24 hours.

So here are some suggestions to wet your whistle:

My personal favorite is a cupcake. I love all cupcakes, but I can’t wait to try the one pictured above! ! You can find this little slice of heaven at The Main Street Bakery, Main Street Confectionery, Gaston’s Tavern, and Big Top Souvenirs. If you want something slightly healthier you could always get a waffle sandwich from Sleepy Hollow in Liberty Square. The Fruit and Nutella one is the best! Don’t forget a Starbucks Coffee to keep you awake!  Sounds like a great way to start the day to me!

On to lunch:

The Mac and Cheese from from The Friar’s Nook is so good. If that is not your thing then try Pinocchio Village Haus their flatbread pizza and salads are really good. If you happen to be strolling down Main Street you could stop at Casey’s for a classic hot dog and fries.

Snack time:

At 4 p.m. you can check out the Tomorrowland beach party, and grab a snack at The Lunching Pad. They will have fa tropical watermelon lemonade, I will have to try one of those! Don’t forget the special gourmet hot dog topped with pulled pork and cole slaw. Last, but not least a crisped rice treat shaped like a flip-flop available only during the beach party. Maybe you are not in the mood for any of that, well who doesn’t love fries? Try the gourmet waffle fries from Golden Oak Outpost.

Don’t forget to pace yourself!

For dinner, try the new Deluxe Chicken Sandwich with pepper jack cheese, bacon and chipotle mayo at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café, or you can try one of the new Rice Bowls at Tortuga Tavern. If you find yourself in Liberty Square when hunger hits try the Seafood Mac and Cheese.

My favorite meal, DESSERT!

While you are waiting to watch Wishes, why not pick up some ice cream from the Plaza Ice Cream Shop. I think I will finally try the Kitchen Sink Sundae, or as some call it the Mickey Pants Sundae.  Not in the mood for ice cream? You can take a short walk to the confectionery and pick from one of the many amazing snacks/desserts they have to choose from. No matter what you pick you can’t go wrong!

If you are a brave soul and make it the full 24 hours, then you might want breakfast before you leave so you can go back to your room and crash! Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Café will have a breakfast plate loaded up with bacon, scrambled eggs and herb-crusted roasted red skin potatoes. Yes please!

It all sounds soooo good! What sounds god to you?
