Frozen: Storybook Deluxe App Review

I recently had the pleasure of playing with the new Frozen: Storybook Deluxe app. It is so adorable. I love the graphics on this app.

In this app you get to pick between 2 options, one is read and the other is play.

On the read side, you get to hear the story Elsa and Anna.

After you page has been read remember to touch the scene because some scenes move and talk. I think that really makes the story come to life. Also keep an eye out for in the right corner for a symbol telling you turn your device upside down so that you can hear and see the story from the other sisters side. I think children will really love the storybook side because they can feel like they are a part of the story. You can also record your own voice for the narration of the story.

On the play side, you get a few options, Free Draw, Snow Globe, and Puzzles.

In Free Draw, well you get to draw whatever you want. You get a few different options to draw on the ice. You can write in ice or make a snowflake picture. You can swirls of snow and make your drawing extra magical.

In Snow Globe you can make your own. You run finger around the screen and make a design that will go in your snowglobe. You get 3 different screens to complete your snowglobe. When you are done you get to see your design featured in snowglobe with the characters. Don’t forget to tap on the snowglobe when you are done!

In Puzzles, you have to take and match the pieces of the ice puzzle with the pieces on the left side in order to unveil a scene from the movie. I am not a big fan of puzzles but this adorable and I am sure it will keep the younger kids entertained for a few.

I love this app. I think they should have added another game or 2 but overall it is visually stunning, the colors are very vibrant and it really makes you feel like you are a part of the story.

Overall I give this App an A
